Fun and Comfy Rainy Day Fashion from Nomad Footwear

The rain and snow are natural nemesis for fancy footwear. Those who spend a lot on leather suede and other exotic skin materials need to exert extra effort to protect their shoes from these external elements. However, there are also fashionable yet practical alternatives for prancing around in the rain or trekking the snow without ruining your shoes or getting your feet wet. Shoes that are made from water proof and water resistant materials are widely available in the market, not just for trekkers or sporty ones but also for fashionable women.

Rain boots with colorful and trendy designs are great for commuting to work during rainy season or strolling in the snow during winter. Nomad footwear offers some practically priced rain boots that can brighten up your rainy day outfit. These boots are made from water resistant rubber material that can protect your feet from getting soaked in the rain or snow. They also have a variety of designs that range from plain bright colors to prints that are also found in the 2013 fashion trends.

Nomad Footwear

I am fortunate enough to be able to review one pair of footwear from Nomad Footwear and I chose the  Puddles-Irises Nomad Rain Boots . This one cost $57 which is a reasonable price in my opinion. It has black rubber soles with 1 inch heel, black strap with buckle in the calf area, and a floral design with dominant green and blue hues. I like the printed design and the color combination that attracts attention without being loud. It’s quite comfortable to wear for shopping or walking the dog after the rain. The rubber material seems durable and so far it hasn’t cracked yet, unlike other rain boots that crack after several uses. I can’t wait to see how it holds up in the winter.

The Rain Boots from Nomad Footwear offers a mid-range option for those who are looking for nice looking boots without spending a lot on it. At a $50-$60 price range, one can have a couple of rain boots around to match their outfits for rainy days. However, those who plan to order online should take a look at their sizing instructions or guide to ensure a perfect fit. It is recommended that you order a size smaller than your usual as they run big sizes. There is no need to wait for a rainy day to wear your rain boots. Puddle or no puddle these Nomad boots are fun and comfy to wear.

I love all the playful prints Nomad features on their rain boots- I wear a size 12, so some of their styles fit a bit snug, but I get so many compliments on my Fluer De Lis pair!

The rain boots are sooo cute! It’s wonderful how they come up with fashionable designs for footwear that used to be ignored and came just in plain dreary black.
